Albino Rhino
I remember being a little girl and first learning about albino rhinos. I think I first learned of them from an old cartoon I used to watch, possibly Wild Kratts. They caught my attention because they looked like a dinosaur to me and I remember realizing they were endangered. That made me so sad because I thought in my head that all the dinosaurs would truly be gone, since then they have kind of had a special piece of my childhood.
Australian Shepherd
My dream, among other things, is to have an Australian Shepherd in my house. Currently, I have four dogs, all small, and I love them but I would really love a bigger dog for a change. I guess I was also influenced by my childhood cartoons for this one since I distinctly remember watching Clifford, the big dog ideal kind of stuck with me. I also like how Australian Shepherds are so protective and intelligent.
Cat
I used to own a cat when I was younger. She was a grey little cat, and she got along with my puppy at the time, Lulu. It amazed me how this cat could get along with everyone and since then I’ve really liked cats and dogs equally. I love a cat's personality; they are always calm and carefree. I guess I really like that about them because I need a little bit of those qualities in me sometimes and not stress too much. Although all cats have different personalities, I love them all because of that first cat I had.
Harp Seal
One of my favorite animals is also the Harp Seal because it reminds me so much of my dog, Lulu. They are white, fluffy, and have big brown eyes, just like my dog. They also have a soft spot in my heart because of how hunters would kill them for their pelts. The Harp Seal is so docile and sweet that they wouldn’t even avoid the hunters so it just made me so sad that they would be hunted like that after doing nothing wrong. I love their innocence and how adorable they are.
Owl
I have always admired owls because they symbolize wisdom and prosperity. I guess every one of my favorite animals has my sympathy or my admiration because of something I do not have, like in this case wisdom. Owls are such sophisticated creatures and many people don’t pay attention to them even though they are as common as hummingbirds. Overall, owls are beautiful, mysterious, and intimidating creatures that have my admiration.
